I like to focus every project I do on the user's needs by conducting research and gaining empathy to understand valuable user experiences. Design decisions are always validated through usability testing which lead to iterations until a job is complete. Maintaining a connection with my community is important to me. As a designer, I have made my city my own personal coloring book. Constantly working, I love creating avenues to help my city's small businesses thrive.
I graduated the University of Idaho with my bachelors degree in fine art. Initially I began my experience in higher education with a major in medicine, but switched after realizing my place in life is creating art.
Shortly after obtaining my education in art, I attended community college and earned my associates in visual communication.
Every being on this planet is in a state of evolving to situations. Instead of rejecting the notion of changing the way we do things, why not embrace it?
We are all constant works in progress that must receive feedback so we can grow. I love to spend my free time listening to educational podcasts, reading blogs, and starting new creative projects.
Spending time in the great outdoors has been scientifically proven to reduce stress levels, help you find clarity, and rejuvenate your mind and body. When I need inspiration or hit a mental road block, I head for the trails.
Do what you enjoy. I believe that the secret to life is living genuinely - focusing only on the things that bring you joy. I am elated that I have a life surrounded by motivating individuals that inspire me to live a life of passion.
